I’m sure that many of you go through your daily mealtime routine and struggle with not just how to keep your mealtime routine organized but also how to quiet your mind while eating. I’ve tried many times to quiet my mind during a mealtime and the first thing that usually happens is that I get stressed out and grump up. It’s almost as if my mind wants to shout at me and that doesn’t sound very appealing to me.

I’m sure that many of you go through your daily mealtime routine and struggle with not just how to keep your mealtime routine organized but also how to quiet your mind while eating. I’ve tried many times to quiet my mind during a mealtime and the first thing that usually happens is that I get stressed out and grump up. It’s almost as if my mind wants to shout at me and that doesn’t sound very appealing to me.

In order to help myself calm down after a long day, I like to sit in a quiet room or even in my pajamas before I eat. I like to just focus on enjoying the moment instead of listening to my mind to think of all of the things I should be thankful for at the end of the day. By simply changing the way I eat for a couple of days, I found that I was able to change my mealtime rituals and not worry about how I would get my mind in the right state of mind to be able to calm down.

 

The thing that most people don’t do when they are hungry is they’ll eat whatever is available to them without taking time to consider what might actually be good for them. This is actually one of the biggest culprits of weight gain because our bodies are not used to being hungry. To combat this, make sure that you prepare healthy, nutritious foods. Make sure that you plan meals that are healthy and easy to clean up afterward, too!
